Family Dinner Conversation Starter

Chow Chat is an engaging, educational app that brings the family closer while encouraging critical thinking, language development and the sharing of diverse ideas.

Chow Chat provides a year’s worth of thought provoking discussion cards. Each card starts with an interesting fact, quote or proverb that helps stimulate the thought process. The related question that follows (and most cards actually have more than one question) encourages children and adults to share ideas and opinions not just by answering the question, but also by responding to the engaging nature of the facts, quotes and proverbs.

We have worked hard to verify the facts and attribute the quotes correctly. If we’ve missed something, let us know and we’ll correct it in a future version.

The cards can be filtered by rating and category. If you discover something novel that you want to share with your family, new topics and questions can be added, edited, or deleted.

Chow Chat is great for family dinners at home, at a restaurant or even at grandma’s house. It’s also great for keeping the kids entertained while waiting for an appointment or in the car.
